After a long wait, West London will be taken over again with dazzling floats, kaleidoscopically-dressed performers, ear-splitting sound systems, the sweet, smoky smell of jerk chicken and steel bands over the August Bank Holiday.

Enjoy Free, Open Air Entertainment at The Summer Sounds Music Festival
Staged in the beautiful outdoor spaces of Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross, join this mesmerising 12-day programme of music and performances, including the likes of Paco Peña and Friends, Tacla and the London Community Gospel Choir.
With live concerts every evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and from 1pm to 6pm on ‘Family Sundays’, King’s Cross Summer Sounds is London’s most inclusive free music festival.
Be inspired and join in some of the many creative activities being held by the National Gallery this summer. Be ready to sketch, make, move, explore and release your inner artist in the open air of Trafalgar Square . When you are ready for a break there will also be food trucks in the Square serving up tasty snacks and drinks.
All activities take place daily, and are open to everyone.
